Tal como ocurrió el año pasado, tras la investidura presidencial de Donald Trump, cientos de mujeres tomaron las calles de distintas ciudades de Estados Unidos en protesta por el nuevo ocupante de la Casa Blanca.
Multitudes de mujeres en protesta se reunieron en New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, y Atlanta. Las actividades continuarán en el evento “Power to the Polls” que busca promover el registro de mujeres votantes para participar en las próximas elecciones, en noviembre.
Las marchas ocurren en un momento de particular repudio a Donald Trump: A pesar de que la economía se encuentra en un buen momento, y el desempleo en niveles bajos, su aprobación se encuentra en su punto más negativo.
