Esta noche, la ciudad de París fue el blanco de varios ataques terroristas, coordinados a una escala nunca antes vista en suelo europeo. Los ataques se dieron en distintos puntos de reunión, sobre todo para jóvenes, como bares y centros comerciales. El más mortal de estos ataques ocurrió en Le Bataclan, uno de los foros más populares de la capital francesa donde se estaba llevando a cabo un concierto de Eagles of Death Metal. Alrededor de 100 personas murieron durante la toma de rehenes, víctimas de asesinos que portaban armas de alto poder. Aunque muchos integrantes de la banda escaparon con vida, se desconoce la suerte de varios miembros de su crew. El golpe a la comunidad musical fue tremendo, y artistas del todo mundo alzaron su voz en redes sociales para mostrar su apoyo a los parisinos y al resto del país galo.
