Los personajes de cómics nunca se habían visto mejor

Sin previo aviso, la cultura geek y nerd se ha convertido en algo que goza de popularidad. Gracias al movimiento que Marvel inició con su universo cinematográfico, lo que alguna vez fue un gusto de nicho, se ha expandido hasta alcanzar un punto muy alto en la cultura pop.

Y una de las cosas que ha evolucionado (para bien), es el Cosplay:

Lo que empezó como un simple gusto entre los fans de los cómics y videojuegos, se ha transformado en toda una industria que años con año, crece de manera acelerada.

Hay trabajos impresionantes, desde la creación de armaduras muy detalladas, hasta el uso del body paint. Y lo que les traemos el día de hoy los dejará con la boca abierta:

Kay Pike, es una modelo canadiense que se a dedicado en los últimos años ha realizar asombrosos body paints, inspirados en los héroes de Marvel y DC.

I used a viscous amount of ambient orange lights and back-lighting of red. Light was affecting every paint choice 😀 It was a Challenge as always to to the extreme contrasts with the style. I last did it with Robin. The animation was fun too, We turned up the gel lamp and tied it into the blowing animation. Poison Ivy I painted on http://www.twitch.tv/kaypikefashion last time, and I am painting Again Tomorrow! I really like Pamela IRL. Ivy fights for the world itself, she is like Captain Planet… but a bit of a sociopath. 😀 Poison Ivy=planeteer haha. I actually really prefer the New 52 Origin to the old one, its a little more twisted and human and convoluted. Shows she is indeed a neutral character, and ironically very human. Lo que la caracteriza, es que ella busca obtener una imagen exactamente igual a la de los dibujos de un cómic. Si no nos dijeran que es una persona, creeríamos que se trata de un dibujo o pintura.
